Abstract

The article examines the characteristics of the features of designing a safe educational environment in higher education institutions, reflecting modern challenges and urgent needs of the educational process. It is shown that strategic planning and an integrated approach are crucial for effective interaction between all participants in the educational environment. In the context of global digital changes, the leading role of information security and digital literacy is highlighted, since they provide the appropriate level of data protection and form a culture of secure communication. The purpose of the study is to characterize the features of designing a safe educational environment in higher education institutions. The object of the study is the educational environment of modern higher education institutions. The main objective of the article is to reveal the most important principles of the process of designing a safe educational environment in higher education institutions in today's conditions. It is emphasized that an important factor in success is compliance with psychological and socio-cultural aspects: a scientific and pedagogical worker must respond in a timely manner to signs of emotional stress, and a higher education student must receive proper support and feel protected in the process of professional development. Legal awareness of all participants remains important, since clear norms and regulations stimulate responsible behavior and prevent negative situations. In revealing the conditions for designing a safe educational environment, the importance of a security strategy, legal literacy, psychological and pedagogical support and technological tools is substantiated. A number of challenges are analyzed, among which cyber threats, contradictions in interaction, financial constraints and an insufficient level of psychological support are highlighted. Despite the complexity of these challenges, it is emphasized that the effective design of a safe educational environment significantly enhances the results of the educational process, contributes to the positive dynamics of personal development and increases the competitiveness of a higher education institution. Thus, the presented material demonstrates the importance of all elements that together form favorable conditions for productive activity and harmonious safe development of each participant.
