Abstract

In this article, an attempt has been made once again, but already from the point of view of today, to draw the attention of the scientific and pedagogical community of higher education to the problem of educational and methodological support for the teaching of physics for students. The article proves that for the educational and methodological support of the study of physical disciplines it is quite sufficient to prepare a high-quality electronic educational and methodological complex of the discipline (EEMKD), which contains informational and methodical sections, a section of lecture materials and materials for practical and laboratory classes, a section of materials for ensuring independent students' work, the section for monitoring the educational work of education seekers.  Such a set of educational and methodological documents is proposed to be named "Complex of educational and methodological support of the educational discipline" (KEMSED). In order to provide high-quality teaching and methodical literature to students of physics majors and to create uniform requirements for the training of physics specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine, it is proposed to create and publish the "University Course of General Physics".
