In the article, for the first time, the problem of defining "physical self-improvement of student youth" is discussed on the basis of broad theoretical and sociological material against the background of the fact that there are inconsistencies, outdated approaches and semantic uncertainty (entropy) in educational and social paradigms.
The stated purpose of the article is to conduct a definitive and significant analysis of understandings, meanings, categories and interpretations of physical self-improvement of student youth on the basis of post-colonial (Western) publications, with the use of comparative and typological analysis, critical discussion of existing definitions from the perspective of the 2020s as a period of synergy and revision in humanities.
The main conclusion of the article is the dependence of the key definitions of the social, personal and educational phenomenon of physical self-improvement of student youth on the historical and post-historical context and educational traditions.
