The article explores effective strategies for implementing auditory and speech rehabilitation for children with cochlear implants. It underscores the significant role of cochlear implants in supporting speech development in preschool-aged children. The design of a rehabilitation program for a child with a cochlear implant considers several factors: the type of hearing impairment, the child's speech and psychophysical abilities, the timing of hearing loss and prosthetic intervention, and the child’s response to changes in familiar cognitive activities. Rehabilitation employs techniques commonly used for developing hearing and speech in children with hearing aids, adapted to the individual needs of each child.
