Abstract

The article explores the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the use of intermedial analysis in Ukrainian literature lessons. It describes and analyzes the scientific works of foreign and Ukrainian researchers on the sensory, emotional, and artistic perception of various forms of art by students, the inter-artistic interaction in Ukrainian literature lessons, and the effectiveness of applying intermedial analysis to the study of literary works. The distinctive features of the concept of "synesthesia" are considered as a polymedia phenomenon that manifests in artistic works, highlighting the trend of synthesis and interaction between different forms of art. It has been proven that the development of emotional intelligence and artistic perception through intermedial analysis in Ukrainian literature lessons helps students better understand artistic images, the experiences of the lyrical hero, fosters empathy, and shapes an understanding of moral values and interpersonal relationships through literary texts. The article demonstrates the appropriateness of using intermedial analysis in Ukrainian literature lessons. It emphasizes that intermedial analysis will encourage the younger generation to think critically and creatively, as they will learn to compare and integrate information from different artistic forms. It is noted that this analysis will help students better understand their own emotions and experiences that arise during their interaction with artistic works and other forms of art. The article shows that intermedial analysis will promote a deeper understanding of literary works through their connections with other media, stimulate the development of students' critical thinking, creative abilities, and analytical skills. It is noted that the use of intermedial analysis in Ukrainian literature lessons will not only improve the quality of the educational process but also make it more productive, enabling students to better understand the interaction between different forms of art while comprehending literary works and shaping their own aesthetic perception, which are important components of comprehensive personal development.
