Abstract

The article analyzes the missionary and pastoral ministry of Bishop Mykolai Charnetsky, a famous Redemptorist monk, Apostolic Visitor and Exarch of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church, who made a significant contribution to the spiritual life of the Ukrainian people. During his episcopal ministry, Bishop Mykolai faced difficulties and challenges of the complex realities of the interwar period. However, in spite of all the challenges, Bishop Charnetsky was active in public activities and testified to fundamental Christian values by the example of his life. Special emphasis is placed on his role as an Apostolic Visitor for Ukrainians in the territory of Volyn, Polissia and Podlasie. The ministry of Bishop Mykolai Charnetskyi and his activities can serve as didactic material in the lessons of the history of Ukraine and the historical and local history circle in educational institutions
