Abstract

In the context of the modern educational paradigm, the author reveals the topical issue of theoretical approaches and trends to the professional training of modern teachers in Ukrainian schools. The article emphasizes that in current conditions, society's demands for the level of pedagogical readiness of teachers are growing, the need for specialists who are ready to work with a new generation of students, which is significantly different from schoolchildren of previous years, is gaining importance. Students who belong to the modern generation are characterized.
