Abstract

The article is devoted to the issue of future teachers' professional training in higher education institutions. In particular, the essence of the concept of "professional preparation of future masters of elementary education to innovative activity" is revealed. Based on the analysis of various interpretations of the essence of professional training, our own formulation of the definition is proposed. The author notes that "professional preparation of future masters of elementary education to innovative activity" is a system of organizational and pedagogical conditions, appropriate educational environment of higher education institutions and availability of educational and methodological support focused on forming the magistrands' professional readiness to innovative activity.
