Abstract
The study revisits a copper alloy aquamanile discovered in the village of Sapohiv near Halych. It appears that this vessel, despite elements of the Late Romanesque style, is not a product of medieval foundry artisans but rather an imitation, most likely cast by a German craftsman in the 19th century
