OLD IMAGES OF HALYCH FROM THE FUNDS OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM IN KRAKOW

The article gives an overview of the old images of Halych – woodcuts, etchings, lithographs, watercolors, and drawings stored in the funds of the National Museum in Krakow. The total number of images detected is 18 units. Chronologically, the illustrations are dated from the period of the late 1830s to 1918. Thematically, the photos depict the general city view; the ruins of the Starostynskyi castle; St. Nicholas Church; Roman Catholic churches of St. Stanislav and the Ascension of the Virgin Mary; destruction of Halych as a result of the First World War fights.
