Abstract

The article deals with the problem of bullying in today’s teenage environment, outlines its main causes and consequences.
The purpose of the article is to consider the manifestations and ways of effective prevention of bullying in the teenage environment, depending on its types: physical and mental.
Adolescence, as recognized by the psychological and pedagogical science – the most difficult and difficult of all stages of the child’s development. It is called transitional because during this period there is a peculiar transition from childhood to adulthood, from immaturity to maturity, which permeates all aspects of adolescent development: anatomical and physiological structure, emotional and intellectual spheres, moral formation. During this period, we observe a change in the child’s behavior.
In order to determine the state of manifestations of violence depending on its types: physical and mental (emotional), we developed a questionnaire. Adolescents are aware of various types of violence and virtually all teens have encountered this problem.
Analyzing the manifestations of physical, mental (emotional) violence against adolescents and their consequences, we have come to the conclusion that raising a child in the context of mental and physical abuse leads to deformation of personality. An angry, unfriendly environment generates low self-esteem based on the attitude of parents and other adults. A teenager who is punished, threatened, and physically abused begins to feel unwanted and unloved and is hostile and disdainful.
It should be noted that the same teenager can be abused by both parents and teachers, the street and peers.
To prevent bullying for teens, there is a need for clear, focused and coordinated work between all participants in the educational process of the pedagogical, student groups and family, and active counteraction to negative factors.
